Sunday School starts today with Jane Nicholls on the theme of peacemaking.

The LOUNGE has recently been re-furnished, thanks to the Memorial Fund. The previous furniture is now being used in the upstairs classroom and baby fold.

Our Future Together: You are invited to the next event in Immanuel’s visioning process–a workshop to be held on Saturday, September 29th, from 9:00 to 3:00, here in the sanctuary. Come and participate in a process that will help us to reflect on the congregation’s mission. Hear what the Visioning Group heard from you in the focus groups, and discuss recommendations for next steps in the process. All with a connection to Immanuel are invited and welcome to be part of this day. We will begin to gather at 8:30 for coffee or tea, and enjoy lunch as well as breaks together. Please sign up on the sheets in the Amen Corner, and if you are able to help by bringing a pot of soup, muffins or cookies, we will appreciate your signing up for that as well.

Choir has begun with practices on Thursdays at 7pm. If you are interested in joining the choir please contact Eileen Metcalfe. Everyone is welcome!

Immanuel’s Fowl Supper will take place on Saturday, October 27th from 4-7pm. Tickets are Adults $13.00, Children 12 and under, $7.00 and Families (with children under age 12 only) $35.00. Tickets are available in the Amen Corner or in the Church Office. Come one, come all, and bring your family, friends and neighbours!

“With Love, Lydia” a book written by Reverend Patricia Wotton will be sharing her stories about writing the book at CPUC, 525 Beresford Avenue on Tuesday, September 25th from 7-10pm. Dessert and refreshments will be available, a collection will be taken at the door. Please see poster on the bulletin board.
