a welcoming, affirming, justice-seeking congregation

2014 Church Calendars are now available. They are $6.00 each. Please call the office or see Pat Schulz after worship.

Coffee/Tea Duty As we had fewer people volunteering to serve coffee this year, we are trying a different arrangement. One person who is familiar with the procedures for preparing and serving coffee and tea has been assigned to each Sunday. We would like two people on duty each Sunday so we would appreciate others signing up to assist on a Sunday when they would be available. This duty requires reporting to the kitchen at about 10:40 for preparation and then staying until about 12:30 – 12:45 for serving and clean-up. A sign-up sheet is at the back of the worship area by the kitchen.
Also–disregard the original coffee duty roster that was emailed and handed out in September. Instead, please follow the roster at the back of the church. Thank you.

Elders’ Files are in the AMEN corner. Please check your file regularly. If you need a file added please contact Sharon in the office or email her at iuchurch .

Immanuel United Church would like to introduce the members of the Ministry & Personal Committee (M&P); Neil Barbour, Robert Smith, Verna McKay and Cindy Smyth. We describe ourselves as “being in ministry together” recognizing that the work of paid ministry personnel is only part of the ministry that takes place in the pastoral charge. The M&P committee overseas relationships within the pastoral charge ministry, particularly with roles and functions of paid leaders and employees. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to visit with one of the members.
