Our regular Sunday morning worship service is at 11:00 am. The sacrament of communion is usually held on the first Sunday of every month.

Unraveling the Doctrine of Discovery
This first Sunday of Lent we will go back to what was the beginning of colonization and Land inequity issues, the Doctrine of Discovery. Norah McMurtry, Marian Matthews and Kerry LaRoque will lead us in trying to understand and begin to unravel this part of our history.
February 25 Week Two – Story
Life in Residential Schools
The second Sunday, Lorraine Kakegamic will share the story of her husband Solly’s experiences in the Residential School system.
March 4 Week Three – Land
Guest Speaker, Stan McKay
Stanley McKay will lead us to a better understanding of why the issue of Land is the crucial area for us to understand in order for us to being on our journey to reconciliation.
Stan McKay is a Canadian Christian minister from Fisher River Cree Nation, Manitoba. He served as the 34th Moderator of the United Church of Canada and is the first Aboriginal person to have led a Mainline Protestant denomination in Canada.
March 11 Week Four – Treaty
Guest Speaker, Loretta Ross
Loretta Ross from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission will help us better understand the meaning of Treaty.
Loretta Ross is a member of Hollow Water First Nation in Manitoba, a lawyer for more than 20 years and a former member of the Manitoba Human Rights board of commissioners. Loretta was named new Manitoba treaty commissioner, in 2017.
