Kimberly Terrace

The space next to our church is being developed into a housing complex called Kimberly Terrace.

We engaged the neighbouring community in some creative dreaming by setting up a chalkboard asking, “What Do You Imagine In This Space?”  There were a lot of intriguing and creative suggestions left on our chalkboard.  It clearly engaged the community.  Some people also phoned the church with their thoughts.  One person even left a sketch of her vision of the space:

There was even a nice article about our community consultation in the local Herald newspaper.
