Paul is a retired, ordained minister with many years of experience working within The United Church of Canada.  He began working half-time at Immanuel in the fall of 2022 providing worship leadership and pastoral care. He continues with us full-time as of the fall 2023.

Sharon Vandenberg ~ Office Administrator

Sharon Vandenberg has been with Immanuel since 2001. She is the person that greets you on the phone, in person, through email and answers your questions/concerns. Sharon prepares our weekly bulletin/announcements, newsletters, annual reports, does record keeping and communicates with the various clusters, staff, regular renters of the building and volunteers.
She is also the person that does the bookings for the Church, such as funerals/memorial services, weddings and other events. Assisting with special events that take place at Immanuel during the year is a task she is always willing to help with when needed. You can find Sharon in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

Peter Fyne ~ Organist & Accompanist

Immanuel - Peter

Peter H. Fyne, ARCT, A.Mus., ARCCO, was appointed organist and accompanist of Immanuel United Church in September 2010. Previously he served for nearly 22 years as organist & pianist of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Winnipeg. Peter works as a freelance accompanist and teaches piano, organ and theory on a private basis. Peter joined the Royal Canadian College of Organists (RCCO) in 1989 and continues to serve as an active member of the Winnipeg Centre.
