When we gather around the communion table, we gather as friends and neighbours,
as seekers and sojourners.
We gather, not with all the answers, but with our many questions, our worries, our struggles, our hopes and our joys.
All are welcome at the table,
which belongs, not to us, but to our God.
It is open to all who seek to live as Jesus would have us live.
There is a place for you at this table,
whether you belong to this church,or to another church, or to no church at all.
The will to ground your lives in the message and ministry of Jesus
and to receive the mercy offered at the table
is the only requirement for admission,
and even then, your will need not be perfect.
This table is a starting place for lives lived graciously in the world.
